After months of waiting, Android users can finally try Arc Search—the mobile version of the popular Arc browser, which was initially only available on iOS.

The open beta version of this service is now officially available on Google Play.

The standout feature of Arc Search is the "Browse for me" AI function. This tool summarizes relevant information based on the user’s search query and presents it as a neat, easy-to-read summary.

However, regular search results are also available, and you can quickly switch between these two options using a slider at the bottom right of the screen.

For example, if you're looking up the score of a match, you can first use Google to get traditional search results.

Then, with just a tap, switch to "Browse for me" on the same page, and the app will give you all the key highlights: game statistics, team history, fun facts, expert comments, and more—all in a well-organized format.

The browser also comes with other handy features like auto-archiving old tabs, ad-blocking by default, and removing pop-ups that track user data.

Plus, there’s full syncing with the desktop version of Arc, allowing you to start browsing on your phone and pick up where you left off on your computer.

According to Josh Miller, founder and CEO of The Browser Company, the team plans to launch a paid version of this app in the future, offering additional functionality and making it a sort of mobile companion.

But don’t worry—Arc Search with its current features will remain free.

With its sleek AI tools and convenient features, Arc Search is shaping up to be a great option for those looking for an enhanced mobile browsing experience.
