Huawei has just unveiled the Mate XT, a groundbreaking smartphone that folds not once, but three times! This innovative device features three screens and is the first of its kind in the world.

When unfolded, the Mate XT is incredibly slim, measuring just 3.6 mm thick, excluding the camera block. For comparison, the thinnest previous foldable phone, the Honor Magic V3, is 9.2 mm thick. When folded, the Mate XT's thickness is 11 mm, making it compact and easy to carry.

The Mate XT boasts a stunning 10.2-inch OLED display, which is the largest screen found in any foldable smartphone to date. Depending on how you fold it, you can use the device as a 6.4-inch or 7.9-inch phone. Weighing in at 238 grams, it's surprisingly lightweight given its size.

The phone features a diamond-shaped camera block with four components. The main camera has a 50 MP resolution and comes with a 10-step adjustable aperture and optical image stabilization. It also includes a 12 MP ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens with 5.5x zoom. The fourth element is a laser autofocus system. Plus, the camera supports AI features to enhance photo quality. For selfies, there’s an 8 MP front-facing camera.

The Mate XT is powered by a 5,600 mAh battery that supports fast charging at 66 watts. If you prefer wireless charging, it supports up to 50 watts. The phone comes with a generous 16 GB of RAM.

The Huawei Mate XT will be available for purchase in China starting September 20. It will come in three storage options: 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. Prices will start at 20,000 yuan (approximately 257,000 rubles).
